The SIGGRAPH 2024 conference in Denver, USA, recently brought together the global community of computer graphics and interactive techniques enthusiasts for a week of innovation, collaboration, and discovery. Among the many presentations, also our team was able to showcase our recent publication on “Reconstructionless Airborne Radiance Fields” (https://github.com/bambi-eco/RARF) during the session on Fast Radiance Fields.

Our research team, including Leopold Böss, David Schedl, and Christoph Praschl, invited participants to explore the possibilities of this technique. As part of the “Posters: Images, Video & Computer Vision” segment, the presentation sparked lively discussions on the future of radiance fields and their applications across various industries.

Our colleague Kathrin Probst, together with David, also had the chance to present the results from another project from our University about smart textiles.
