The BAMBI project is featured in the German TV program Terra X on ZDF. The program includes impressive drone footage of chamois and red deer as well as interesting interviews from the Kaunertal region in Tyrol, Austria.
The two researchers Christoph Praschl and Leopold Böß were on site to present the research results from BAMBI. They showed how they use state-of-the-art drone technology to observe the animals in Kaunertal. Together with actor Sebastian Ströbel and Martina Just from the Tyrolean Hunting Association, they explained their findings and provided insights into their work.
The BAMBI team would like to thank all those involved, especially David Enge and his team for the excellent footage. The broadcast of the program is scheduled for December 2023, and the team is looking forward to presenting their work to a wide audience
